🌍 Introduction

The Native Seed Ball Project is a nature-based, low-cost, high-impact ecological movement launched by Mission Green Universe Foundation to restore green cover in barren and inaccessible lands. By empowering communities with native seeds wrapped in nutrient-rich soil, the project turns seed throwing into an act of environmental regeneration.

🔁 Process

1. Local Seed Collection & Preservation (Year-round)

2. Soil Preparation: Clay mixed with cow dung, ash, and organic manure

3. Seed Ball Formation: Native seeds packed into clay balls, dried and stored

4. Distribution & Action: Thrown in targeted spots during monsoon

5. Monitoring: Track germination and spread of green cover

🌿 Native Tree Species Used

Date Palm (খেজুর), Neem (নিম), Debdaru (দেবদারু), Simul (শিমুল), Ashoka (অশোক), Wood Nut, Amaltas, Bablu, Indian Jujube/Kul (কুল), Blackberry/Jamun (জাম), Palmyra (তাল), and other local flora.
