The Seed Bank is a visionary initiative by the Mission Green Universe Foundation, aimed at preserving the natural legacy of our land — its native seeds. This project focuses on collecting, preserving, and distributing local seeds throughout the year to ensure plant propagation during environmental emergencies, seasonal changes, or plantation needs.

It is a grassroots ecological movement that strengthens biodiversity, secures genetic heritage, and prepares communities for a climate-resilient future.

Collect and preserve native seed varieties.

Establish a year-round seed cycle for propagation.

Empower communities and students through green awareness.

Promote seed culture as a foundation of climate resilience.

Ensure access to seeds in nurseries, afforestation drives, and emergencies.

🏠 Door-to-door seed collection involving local communities.

🏫 Engagement through school and college outreach programs.

🧹 Cleaning, drying, and sorting seeds using traditional and sustainable methods.

🪹 Preservation in seed-safe containers and eco-structures.

🌱 Distribution and sowing at Free Native Plant Nurseries and plantation sites.

Bohara, Kathlichu, Chatim, Ashoka, Wood Nut, Bhat, Amaltas, Babla, Tamarind, Vatul, Arjun, Koranja, Peepal, Kodam, Simul, Ronjana, Date, Palmira, Hijal, Neem, Debdaru, Gab, and many others.
