🎯 Objectives of the Campaign:

🌿 Preservation of Native Biodiversity: Promoting native species that are climate-resilient and ecologically significant.

🌍 Climate Action: Supporting global and local efforts to combat climate change by enhancing green cover.

👧👦 Youth Engagement: Encouraging youth participation to instill environmental responsibility.

🏞️ Beautification: Enhancing the visual and ecological appeal of the Balarampur Bypass corridor.

🌳 Long-term Green Cover Expansion: Strengthening natural ecosystems and soil health in urban-peripheral areas.

📝 Summary:

On World Environment Day, 5th June 2024, the Mission Green Universe Foundation led a mega native tree plantation drive along the Balarampur New Bypass roadside. The initiative brought together spirited volunteers and environmental activists to plant a diverse range of native trees vital to the local ecosystem.

The campaign not only contributed to environmental sustainability but also acted as a platform for public awareness and civic participation. The leadership and patronage of key government officials reinforced the message of unity in green action.

This project stands as a living tribute to our commitment to “Green Murshidabad, Clean Earth”, under the larger umbrella of Mission Green Universe’s Climate & Biodiversity Movement.
